easy access to parks and nearby attractions for weekend city strolls
I appreciated the short walk to the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Pedestrian Bridge, which offered stunning views, and I loved that Riverlink Park was just down the road, perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying nature. The hotel was clean and offered good channel options on the TV, which is a nice perk for those of us traveling solo looking to unwind after long days exploring.

This place scores big with fresh, organic jams at breakfast, and that pancake maker? Pure magic! The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and comfy—definitely a cozy nest for our adventure. Plus, fresh coffee 24/7 was the cherry on top!
Now, the bathroom was a bit stuffy, and the air conditioner was sluggish. A fan would’ve been nice! And let's not talk about the late-night police sirens that interrupted our beauty sleep—still, we managed to shine bright!

I had a fantastic stay at the Microtel in Amsterdam. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff greeted me with a warm, friendly smile. The room felt spacious and absolutely spotless. I really enjoyed the comfortable beds and plush pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. I appreciated that the temperature was just right upon my arrival. The breakfast selection was impressive, with fresh bagels and local sweet breads. The coffee was also a highlight for me. I had a walk-in shower in my room that was perfect after a long day. On the downside, I noticed the walls were a bit thin, and I could hear my neighbors at times. The location was not ideal for walking to nearby dining options, especially for those arriving without a car.

Clean and spacious room with a large bathroom enhanced my stay. The breakfast area offered plenty of choices, including a delightful pancake maker that stood out. However, I did notice the limited breakfast variety and somewhat noisy surroundings at night, which affected my comfort. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel remains a solid choice for future visits due to its overall cleanliness and location near local amenities.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Staff
I had a great experience overall, thanks to the incredibly welcoming and helpful staff, especially Ms. Renee at the front desk. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax. However, a little more variety in the breakfast options would have been nice.

The property was fantastic for our family! The 2 Queen Beds, mobility-accessible room fit us perfectly, and we felt right at home with our small dog. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed watching movies on cable after a long day.
In my wife’s opinion, a dog-friendly area on site would be great for families with pets.

I gotta say the staff was excellent and the breakfast was surprisingly decent with a neat little pancake maker that was a hit and the coffee was actually drinkable which is rare for these types of places

We made a last-minute stop here and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy lobby with a fireplace and quick room service that brought us pizza right away. The hotel had a nice breakfast selection and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly for our movie night. The only downside was the steep hill we biked up to get there, but it was well worth it for a comfy stay! 🍕
